One Monday Night, Vattakanal

When the clouds fall into the valley you feel like you're at the end of the world. One step too far and you fall into nothingness.
Wandering around my front porch Monday night, I just just watched this huge, black, menacing cloud drift slowly across the moon. Over a period of 15 minutes the whole damn thing, in all it's dark glory, just sank into the valley. I'm standing there and the world's gone black and closing in. Black, just lit at the edges with a sliver of moonlight - just coming toward me on an imperceptible breeze - magnificent and a little scary...I don't mind admitting!
